Refrigerant gas R600a Description:
It is mainly used to produce isooctane by hydrocarbonization with isobutene and used as gasoline octane improver. Isobutylene and propylene can be produced by cracking. Alkylation with n-butene and propylene can produce alkylated gasoline. Methacrylic acid, acetone and methanol can be produced. It can also be used as refrigerant.
