Refrigerant gas 407 Description:
R407C is a ternary non-azeotropic refrigerant introduced as a replacement for R22. The actual replacement requires only a further change of the lubricant, a change of its dryer and other minor parts. Additives are also often added to the system to improve the characteristics of ester oil, which tends to decompose into residue. In order to take full advantage of this, a counter-flow heat exchanger is the best option.
