Product Description
Difluoromethane is a coolant with zero ozone depletion potential. Methane difluoride and ethylene pentafluoride produce a constant-boiling blend (called R-410A) that is used as a replacement for chlorofluorocarbons (also known as Freon) in new coolant systems, primarily replacing HCFC-22 as a refrigerant blend in compounded low and medium temperatures. Although it has zero ozone depletion potential, it has a high global warming potential, 550 times that of CO2 on a per 100 year time basis
Refrigerant for industrial, commercial, domestic and other air conditioning systems,can also be used as a blending material for refrigerants such as R407, R410a, R504.
