Product Description
Refrigerant R507a is a long-term replacement for R-502 refrigerant (HFC-like substance) with zero ODP and no ozone-depleting substances. Because R507 refrigerant has a refrigeration capacity and efficiency very close to that of R502, as well as excellent heat transfer and low toxicity, R507 is more suitable for low and medium temperature refrigeration applications than any other known alternative to R-502.
R507 is the same environmentally friendly refrigerant used to replace R502 as R404A, but R507 can typically reach lower temperatures than R404A. R507 is suitable for new commercial refrigeration equipment (supermarket freezers, coolers, display cabinets, transport), ice making equipment, transportation refrigeration equipment, marine refrigeration equipment or renewal equipment in medium to low temperatures and for all environments where R502 can be properly environments in which R502 can operate.
