R404A is widely used today as a medium to low temperature refrigerant, often used in cold storage, food freezing equipment, marine refrigeration equipment, industrial low temperature refrigeration, commercial low temperature refrigeration, transportation refrigeration equipment (refrigerated trucks, etc.), frozen condensing units, supermarket display cabinets and other refrigeration equipment.
Refrigerant R404A is the most common industry standard refrigerant to replace R22 and R502 in newly installed refrigeration equipment (usually for low temperature refrigeration systems), R404A is the closest to the operation of R-502, it is suitable for all environments where R-502 can operate normally, R404A is recognized and used by the majority of refrigeration equipment manufacturers worldwide. However, since R404A is different from R502 and R22 in terms of physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance and compressor oil, after-sales service for refrigeration equipment initially installed with R502 and R22 refrigerants, if it is necessary to add or replace refrigerants again, only R502 and R22 can be added, and usually R404A cannot be used directly to replace R502 and R22 (i.e., usually (that is to say, it is usually not possible to make a blood change type replacement).
